About Us
Aloha and Welcome.
I am the founder and artisan behind KUʻUIPO Soaps and Things—a handmade bath and body brand born from the spirit of the islands and a personal mission for wellness.
A Journey Rooted in Necessity
Raised in Hawaiʻi, I grew up immersed in the beauty of the islands, but my skin told a different story. For years, I struggled with extreme sensitivities; even standard "gentle" cleansers often resulted in painful breakouts or chemical burns. This challenge sparked a deep-seated passion: to formulate a line of products that were as safe as they were beautiful. I traded mass-produced chemicals for thoughtful, island-inspired ingredients, creating a collection I could finally trust on my own skin—and proudly share with yours.
Handcrafted with Intention
Today, I bring the spirit of Aloha to Texas, where every product is meticulously handcrafted in small batches. By blending tropical inspirations with high-quality botanicals, I’ve curated a luxurious range of creamy soaps, decadent body butters, and nourishing hair care designed to transform your daily routine into a soothing ritual.
What’s in a Name?
In Hawaiian, KUʻUIPO translates to "Sweetheart." This name serves as a constant reminder of the care, love, and intention poured into every jar and bottle. Whether you discover us at a Polynesian festival, a local market, or right here online, my goal remains the same: to provide you with a safe, luxurious experience that makes you feel truly cared for.
Mahalo for being part of our journey and for supporting the art of handmade.
